Technical info – overview

At Rimshot we’ve left no stone unturned to ensure that nothing comes between your performance and capturing it on tape. If a problem does arise, we aim to deal with it quickly and with minimum disruption.

A brief list of the technical lengths we’ve gone to:

• 3-phase electrics (to keep the audio electric supply clean from clicks and hums).
• Technical-earth grounding system for the audio electrical circuit (for a very low noise floor).
• All audio and electric circuits have completely different cable runs to prevent any hums or buzzes.
• Full air conditioning throughout the studio.
• Van Damme Blue series audio cable throughout.
• All mic cables are Van Damme star quad for maximum noise rejection.
• Saint Gobain acoustic glass.
• Lighting system: the live room features over 40 lights that can be dimmed to create the perfect vibe.
• Tie lines to every room.
